Disabled Access

disabled rampWe can arrange for disabled access on the majority of our promotional vehicles or trailers.

In most cases wheelchair access involves the installation or addition of purpose built ramps, in some cases i.e. our ex mobile library conversions hydraulic lifts come as standard.

For both small, medium and large HGV trailers if the units current layout doesn't include a ramp we can arrange the hire of wheelchair ramps to the units interior.

Although some form of wheelchair access in to the body of a promotional unit can be arranged, some areas are not easy to access, in particular the upper deck of a double decker bus, previously we have arranged for bespoke builds to incorporate external/internal lifts to be built/attached to the vehicle and upper deck access door to be installed.

Some older single and double decker promotional buses also pose problems for wheelchair users, although access can be arranged with ramps, maneuvering around the interior can be seriously limited by interior fixtures i.e. wheel arches, staircase etc therefore it is always advisable to inform us if wheel chair access is required and the level of access
